    Chief Scientist

    Demetri Terzopoulos (PhD '84 MIT), Chancellor's Professor of Computer Science at UCLA, holds the rank of Distinguished Professor and directs the UCLA Computer Graphics & Vision Laboratory. He is or was a Guggenheim Fellow, a Fellow of the ACM, a Fellow of the IEEE, a Fellow of the Royal Society of London, a Fellow of the Royal Society of Canada, a member of the European Academy of Sciences and the New York Academy of Sciences, and a life member of Sigma Xi. One of the most highly cited authors in engineering and computer science, his many awards include an Academy Award for Technical Achievement from the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences and the inaugural Computer Vision Distinguished Researcher Award from the IEEE for his pioneering and sustained research on deformable models and their application to medical image analysis and other domains.



    Vice President R&D

    Dr. Jianming Liang is an Associate Professor of Biomedical Informatics and Computer Science at Arizona State University. He joined the ASU faculty in 2009 after six years with Siemens. Drawing upon computer vision, machine learning, visualization, mathematics, and statistics, his research focuses on imaging informatics and the development of systems for computer-aided diagnosis, therapy, and surgery. Through a multidisciplinary team-based approach, his systems address a significant challenge facing biomedicine: the image data explosion, a manifestation of big data in biomedical imaging. In addition to his 70+ peer-reviewed publications, he has been awarded 13 US patents and has an additional 31 patents pending. His research has led to FDA-approved products. Dr. Liang received an ASU President’s Award for Innovation.



    Chief Executive Officer

    Dr. Xiaowei Ding is a medical image analysis and machine learning researcher. He received his Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from Shanghai Jiao Tong University in 2012 and PhD in Computer Science (minor in Applied Mathematics) from UCLA in 2015. He is a research assistant professor in the UCLA Computer Science Department. Previously, he was a research assistant at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, in the Biomedical Imaging Research Institute and the Artificial Intelligence in Medicine Program. He serves as an editorial board member and reviewer for several top medical and technical journals and conferences.
